The blend of these two Greek varieties gives a bright green-yellow colour with a distinctive aromatic character, fresh, all-round taste and balanced acidity.
Stavros Manolesakis with his father George Manolesakis started creating their own vineyards in 1989. The Greek varieties Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, Moschomavro, Limnio and Agiorgitiko come into the picture to accompany cosmopolitan varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah and travelling through time with the aroma and flavour of wine became magical. The whole philosophy, culture, love and the experience of winemaking that they acquire prompted them to establish their own wine company MANOLESAKIS ESTATE in 1999. Watching their dreams become true, they never stop experimenting with new things and have equip the winery with the latest technological machinery in order to have the best result.
Cultivation with traditional way with linear formed vineyard. Every year new stems gives grapes for better quality and quantity and they are easily operated.
The completely healthy and perfectly ripened grapes were carefully selected. Only the free run juice was used for the fermentation, which took place after skin contact at 18°C, maintaining the maximum aromatic character. Following the alcoholic fermentation, maturation on fine lees took place for two months, prior to bottling.
