A classic Spanish Garnacha from north-east Spain - ripe berry fruit and soft tannins make this an appealing, easy-drinking red.
Production
The Garnacha grapes are grown on alluvial soils in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 22ºC - 25ºC, with a 15 day maceration period.
Tasting Note
Fresh plum and blackberry aromas. On the palate there are ripe blackcurrant, berry and cherry characters balanced by supple tannins and juicy acidity.
Food Match
Drink with lamb and chorizo dishes, or albondigas.
