Virtual Wine Tasting - Wines of Italy with Graham Wharmby

This is our Nineteenth virtual wine tasting in which we will be showcasing three Italian wines.  

Due to the fact that we cannot hold any face to face tastings currently, we are offering tastings online using the conferencing app Zoom.  We are thrilled to be joined at this tasting by Graham Wharmby who is our account manager for the importer of these three wines.  He has visited the producers and has many interesting tales to tell about them.  He will be talking in general about wine production in Italy, then he will guide you through the three wines which you can taste alongside us in the comfort of your own home with the opportunity to ask questions. The wines being shown should demonstrate that Italy offers so much more than slightly sweet Prosecco and watery Pinot Grigio! When the tasting selection has been purchased we will supply you with the appropriate log on details.

The three wines being shown at this tasting are - 

Ferghettina Franciacorta Brut NV - made by the same method as Champagne     

Monte Schiavo Ruviano Verdicchio Classico 2020 - an ideal white wine with fish  

Monte Schiavo Alberto Serenelli Rosso Conero 2018 - a juicy red which is great with a barbecue
