Tasting Note

Deep red with violet glints. On the nose the wine gives a rich bouquet of forest fruits and garrigue, thyme, sage and rosemary. The palate is soft and round with soft tannins neatly framing the fruit. The finish is long with a fresh minerality.

Saint Chinian is a highly reputed village in the Languedoc region where vines have grown since the Middle Ages. The vineyard is planted on the sun-kissed slopes of sandstone and schists and benefits from a cool microclimate.


The grapes were carefully hand picked, parcel by parcel. Each of the varietals was macerated for approximately three weeks. Once complete, the finest cuvées were selected for blending before being transferred into Bordeaux oak barrels for eight months. The wine was lightly fined just before bottling.
