This winery is owned by ‘Familia Falasco’ who have over 40 years’ experience producing fine wines and are a top 5 leading Argentine producer located in San Martin (in the east of Mendoza)

Familia Falasco/Los Haroldos own 3,000 hectares of vineyards in many of the prime locations, including vineyards in premier sub-region ‘La Consulta’ in the ‘Uco Valley’ which is 1,100 metres above sea level and offers a perfect micro-climate for producing fresh fruit driven wines.

This wine is a new project made at the Los Haroldos winery which is a modern winery with production capacity of 45 million litres of fine wine, and from February to the end of April, it processes 55 million kilos of grapes.  Los Haroldos is a leading wine within the Argentine domestic market and experiencing significant export growth.

Tasting Note:             A full bodied, rich wine with ripe black fruits flavours supported by rich cherries and juicy plums, there are also hints of violets and vanilla, great texture and long finish

VINIFICATION:         Cold maceration for 5 days, followed by fermentation for 28 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C and 100% Malolactic. 15 months ageing in first fill French oak barriques
