Rocky clay with mineral deposits
The grapes for this wine were sourced from two of Dona Paula's estate vineyards. Finca Alluvia in Gualtallary, a recently discovered premium sub region of Tupungato in Uco Valley and Finca Los Indios, located in Altamira, Uco Valley.
Careful and gentle de-stemming with partial berry crushing to provide fresh berry aromas. Cool pre-fermentation maceration for 2 weeks to extract primary aromas, flavours and intense colour. The juice is fermented at low temperatures and then undergoes a short post fermentation maceration. The wine is then racked to first, second and third use French oak barriques (33% of each one) where the wine is aged for 10 months before being bottled.
