Tasting Note

The colour is crystal clear in appearance. The nose shows real fruit character. In the mouth, It reveals freshness, highlighting the fruity flavours. Very minerally and zesty on the finish.

Producer Note

Gérard Bertrand is one of the most outstanding winemakers in the South of France, where he owns numerous estates among the most prestigious crus of Languedoc-Roussillon. Named in 2012 as the IWC Red Winemaker of the Year and Wine Enthusiast's European Winery of the Year, he is known locally as the "King" of the Languedoc. Winemaking

Manual harvest followed by immediate soft pressing. Transfers of the must before fermentation are carried out under a protective carbonic gas atmosphere. Fermentation at low temperatures, typically 15° to 18°C in stainless steel vat. The wine is matured on the fine lees for several weeks with weekly pump overs.

Serving Suggestion

As an aperitif, Mediterranean salads, baked fish and Thai green curry.
