This is one of the newest estates on the Greek scene.  Evangelos Geravassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsalis are two of the best white wine makers in Greece.  The vineyards are based in Kavala, the second largest city in the north of Greece, where the excellent soil and microclimate provide long growing seasons. These are cutting edge, world-class wines.

Tasting Note:       Super fresh, a typical Sauvignon nose, with a hint of nettle and lashings of gooseberry and passionfruit. The native Greek variety, Assyrtiko, has imparted citrus aromas and bone-dry minerality to the blend.

Style:                  Medium bodied

Biblia Chora's 150ha of vines are planted on flinty soil at an altitude of 350m on south facing slopes. The proximity of the sea brings a maritime influence to the vineyards. The grapes are hand picked.
