Vineyard

The vineyard is located in the east side of la Vallée de la Loire, between Amboise and Chéverny, in the heart of the Appellation of Touraine. Benefitting from a warm climate during the summer months, this microclimate helps the grapes to achieve full their ripening potential. The soil is predominantly sand and clay, the latter having cooling properties and is high in acidity. Manual harvesting takes place in September.

Winemaking

The grapes were crushed and then traditionally vinified at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine was then racked in order to refine it and further enhance the aromas, prior to bottling. This was made in an unoaked style to express the purity of fruit and the nuances of the terroir.

Tasting Note

A charming, dry Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine, crisp with lively herbaceous and citrus flavours, a good weight on the palate and a clean, fresh finish with a hint of minerality.

Serving Suggestion

Serve chilled between 9-11°C, as the perfect accompaniment to seafood, fish dishes and goat's cheese.
