Tasting Note
A Lallier Vintage (Millesimé) is not declared every year and this is a Champagne of exhilarating freshness with toasty and brioche flavours, made from slightly more Pinot Noir than Chardonnay. Straw yellow with fine delightful bubbles. Green apples with a twist of lime on the nose, it follows through to a developed and flavoursome finish.

Producer Details
A small family concern crafting Pinot Noir dominated blends from Grand Cru sites around Ay (also home to Bollinger but Lallier's cellars are older). Much of their fruit is sourced from 'Grand Cru' vineyards - the crème de la crème of vineyard sites, classified as 100 out of 100. Like Bollinger, Lallier also use a high proportion of Pinot Noir in their blend (the Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir), so with Champagne Lallier you get a Pinot Noir dominated blend from Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites - a rarity.

In The Vineyard
The house of Lallier specialises in producing Champagnes by sourcing exclusively from vineyards officially classified Grand Cru and Premier Cru. This vintage Champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonny both selected from Grand Cru Aÿ.

In The Winery
The provenance of the grapes enables a low dosage to express the purity and the richness of these terroirs. Using almost half and half Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes and with a 7g/L dosage, the bottles are matured on their lees and aged for 6 years in Lallier's underground cellars.
