Winery information:The Medeville family runs this exceptional Domaine in the Cadillac region of Bordeaux. Olivier Medeville is an experienced winemaker with an international pedigree. His aim is to make modern, fruit-driven wines that represent excellent value for money.Viticulture:The grapes were hand picked in 'waves' or different stages from the 38 year old vines where noble rot or botrytis was allowed to develop.Soil:AlluvialVinification:All 3 varieties were matured separately in tanks for 12 months before being blended. The wine was then bottled 8 - 12 months laterTasting Note:Shows great versatility with concentrated apricot, honeycomb and floral aromas, an unctuous palate, oozing with peaches and honey with refreshing acidity. A good all round dessert wine that's great value for money and almost identical in style to its neighbours in Sauternes and Barsac.Serving suggestion:Gorgonzola and pear, goats cheese
