Lebanese Wines

It was Serge Hochar of Chateau Musar who really put Lebanon on the international map in terms of wine making, though sadly many people do not find his wines as attractive now as previously, due to the high volatile acidity of them.  We prefer the style of the wines from Chateau Oumsiyat which has been passed down through the Bou Sleiman family for four generations. When Joseph Bou Sleiman took over the reins at Château Oumsiyat, he blended respect for local tradition with modern techniques to craft contemporary wines. The altitude, microclimate and soils combine in this ancient terroir to produce fresh wines with a very Mediterranean “feel.”
