Ventolera Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Ignacio Reccabarren is the godfather of modern winemaking in Chile and he has started a joint venture with cool climate grape grower, Vicente Izquierdo. The vineyards are situated in the trendy cool climate region of Leyda, just 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The salty sea breezes help to produce wonderfully aromatic and zesty wines.

Tasting Note:   Intense citrus and nettles on the nose. Real depth of flavour and intense long finish with good acidity. The fruit produced is intensely flavoured and loaded with minerals.

Style: Medium bodied.
