The Friuli Venezia Giulia is Italy's easternmost region that is bounded to the North by Austria, to the East by the Slovenia, to the West by the Veneto and to the South by the Adriatic Sea. This land of the ancient Friulian people and an outpost of the Roman Empire, is a crossroads of Germanic, Slavic and Italian cultures. Viticulture has always had considerable importance in the region's economic life. The vine reached Friuli, imported from the East, even before it arrived in France.
Andrea di Pec was the nephew of Frederico d'Attems who was Chancellor of Gorizia in 1540. Andrea was a great teacher of specialised agriculture and in particular viticulture. His Estate was located in the centre of some of the most prestigious agricultural land in Friuli. His impact on the region was such that even though the property, over the centuries, was splintered and changed hands, the name remained and is still used by the present proprietors who managed to secure the core of the original estate.
Today the Estate is owned by the Collavini family who has been involved with wine since 1896 and who was and still is a major force in the development of wines from Friuli.

Vinification: In temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
Colour: Pale straw
Serve: Chilled as an aperitif or with pasta, egg and fish dishes and white meats.
Taste: Dry, fruity and crisp white wine with a hint of nuttiness and spice on the finish..
