A light, dry and fresh white wine from the Trebbiano grape. A hint of citrus with a touch of melon and green apples on the finish.
The Novita wines are sourced from two areas of Italy. Umbria is one of Italy's smallest regions and lies in the shadow of its more illustrious neighbour, Tuscany. The winery comprises 75 hectares of prime vineyards situated around the picturesque town of Orvieto. Based in Emilia Romagna, Gruppo Cevico represents 18 wineries and with over 6,700 hectares under vine, so consistency of quality is guaranteed.
Maceration on skins at 10C lasting 12 hours. Soft pressing of the grapes; fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15C. The wine is left on its fine lees for 4 months in stainless steel tanks with daily stirings. The wine is then filtered and left to rest in tank until bottled.
This zesty wine is a lovely refreshing apéritif, but also accompanies light fish dishes, chicken and light salads with crisp dressings.
