Unoaked Chardonnay - pure, vibrant and aromatic..a real crowd pleaser.
A perfumed nose with hints of apricot blossom and butterscotch. The palate is balanced with delicate stone fruit, hints of cooked pear and a silky texture.
These are some of our most successful house wines yet they are defiantly serious wines for the money. The strength of Boutinot's long term relationships with their growers in Chile allows us to keep prices low and quality high. The grapes are sourced from high mountain vineyards in the Maule Valley. The Merlot is rich and round with real depth of flavour whilst the crisp leafy Sauvignon betrays its high altitude origins with mouth watering floral and gooseberry flavours. The fruit driven Chardonnay is rich, round and immediately appealing whilst the Cabernet is full of dark cassis fruit with ripe soft tannins.
In The Vineyard
The Montevista Chardonnay grapes are grown in Emiliana's vineyards in the Valle Central, located in the southern reaches of Chile, where the vineyards benefit from the warm climate conditions to produce this rich and fruity Chardonnay.
In The Winery
Vinified in stainless steel.
Serve with rich or creamy pork dishes, fresh fish or salads.

2012 Vintage: "Stone fruits, almonds and asparagus on the nose, this has melon and orchard fruit flavours, plus brisk acidity. Team leader Natasha Hughes reckoned this was food friendly, despite a touch of bitterness on the finish." Sommelier Wine Awards 2013, Judges Comments
