Rich, elegant, soft and long with notes of lemons combined with the ripe pears and apricots. Strong minerality and a long finish.
Producer Note
Since 1988 Costa di Bussia winery and vineyards have been owned and managed by the Sartirano family. The Estate is located in the Bussia region of Piemonte, near the village of Monforte d'Alba. The Estate includes the famous vineyard of "Campo del Buoi" and "Campo del Gatto"; 15 hectares of vineyards that offer particular and complex wines. The Barolo Riserva offers complex aromas of crushed flowers, plums and fresh-cut Porcini with evident hints of mint. The Chardonnay is rich, elegant and long and the Dolcetto is fresh with hints of raspberries and sometines known as the "Beaujolais" of Italy.

Soft pressing and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine goes through malolactic fermentation. The wine is left to rest for 6 months sur-lie in stainless steel tanks prior to release.
