Straw yellow with fine golden highlights. Aromas of delicate green pepper, tomato plant leaf and sage are followed by ripe peach and melon. The palate is fresh, full-flavoured and well-balanced.
Located in Lucinico, in the most eastern part of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Collio. For generations, Attems has been synoymous with vine growing in Collio. The Attems family has always held the conviction that a wine's quality and character derive from its local growing area. The Frescobaldi family purchased the estate in 2000 after years of collaboration between the two families.
The vineyards are located in Lucinico in the Collio Goriziano zone. They were planted at 130 metres above sea level in 1973 and 2003. The planting density is between 4,000 and 5,500 vines per hectare.
Eocene marl and sandstone created by the seabed uplifting 50 million years ago.
Guyot trained vines.
Cold maceration of 1/3 of the must. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and barriques - 15% was aged for 2 months in barriques. Partial malolactic fermentation.
Sauvignon Blanc 100%
Delicious as an aperitif, with poultry, light meats, grilled fish and asparagus dishes.
