A light gold-yellow with a rich, complex bouquet showing a stunning array of fruit and fragrant blossoms. Pear, lychee and apricot complemented by floral and acacia notes. The palate is seductively crisp and well-balanced, while the finish exhibits a harmonious balance, with a slaty mineral feel.
Located in Lucinico, in the most eastern part of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Collio. For generations, Attems has been synoymous with vine growing in Collio. The Attems family has always held the conviction that a wine's quality and character derive from its local growing area. The Frescobaldi family purchased the estate in 2000 after years of collaboration between the two families.
Located in the Collio Goriziano area, the vineyard was planted in 1963 and 2002. The planting density is between 4,000 and 6,250 vines per hectare on South, South-East and West facing slopes at an altitude of around 60 metres.
