Intense ruby-red in colour with purplish highlights, showing a brilliant clarity and lovely consistency. On the nose, the fruit is the protagonist with notes of cherry, redcurrant, strawberry and plum. Added to these are spicy hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, roast cocoa, coffee and hazelnut. The palate is warm, supported by a refreshing acidity and the tannins are dense and elegant.

Temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 30C lasting 12 days. Maceration on skins for 4 week. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was matured in oak barrique for 12 months.
Porcino mushroom pasta or rabbit stew.
