Ripe plum fruit with notes of violet. Warm in the mouth with hazelnut, coffee and ripe fruit flavours. Nicely balanced acidity and firm tannins.

Fermentation takes place at 30°C for 10 days in stainless steel. Maceration then followed for 20 days. After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged for 24 months in barrique and a further two months in bottle before release.
Ideal with Florentine Steak, rich chicken or mushroom dishes and pasta dishes with a tomato based sauce.
