Tasting NoteA beautifully balanced, fresh, bright and clean wine. The nose has vibrant strawberry and cherry fruit aromas. The palate has plenty of red fruit as well as cool herbal varietal characters. Lovely minerality and spice, supports the gentle tannic structure.Producer DetailsThese are some of our most successful house wines yet they are defiantly serious wines for the money. The strength of the importers long term relationship with the growers in Chile allows us to keep prices low and quality high. The Sauvignon and the Merlot are from high mountain vineyards, in the foothills of the Andes. The Merlot is rich and round with real depth of flavour whilst the crisp leafy Sauvignon betrays its high altitude origins with mouthwatering floral and gooseberry flavours, demanding of a second glass. The fruit driven Chardonnay is from Casablanca, rich, round and immediately appealing, whilst the Cabernet is from the Central Valley, full of dark cassis fruit with ripe soft tannins. In The VineyardThe grapes for Montevista Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown in Emiliana's vineyards in the Valle Rapel. In The WineryVinified in stainless steel.Food RecommendationsTry with cheeses, meats and pasta dishes.
