The Joblot family has been producing fine wines for over three generations. They own 13 hectares of vineyards in three 1er Cru areas in Givry and lay great emphasis on vineyard management with small yields. Their total production is 6,000 cases per annum and their wines are exported to the USA, Canada, Europe as well as Japan. The wines are vinified in new barriques resulting in powerful but elegant wines of top class quality. These sought after wines have limited availability.
Givry is a village situated west of Chalon-sur-Saone, and in the heart of the Cote Chalonnaise. Givry, famous as the preferred wine of King Henri IV, produces mostly red wine.
