Winemaking details:

The grapes were handpicked from Carmen's own vineyards in Colchagua Valley. The vineyards are managed to yield an average of 10 ton/ha.
A 12 days cold maceration was carried out to ensure maximum retention of primary fruit aromas and colour extraction. Alcoholic fermentation was carried
out in stainless steel tanks at 25º C with a gentle extraction programme. Total skin contact was of 32 days. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in tanks
and barrels, 80% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for a period of 10 months, 20% of the wine remained in tanks. After bottling, the wine aged for
an additional 2 months prior to its release.
