Dear Friend

Firstly we would like to wish you a very happy and healthy 2011. 

January started for us with all the prices on the website needing to be revised due to the increase in VAT, so a fair few hours were spent in front of the computer!  A number of our restaurant accounts have also taken new wines from us so swift deliveries of those were fitted in too.  We have also organised topics and dates for our tastings for 2011 plus some for a local Wine Appreciation Society, so some dates for your diary are:

Sat 19 Mar                                   Loire/Rhone Tasting at home
Thurs 5 May                                 Large Spring Tasting at The Saxon Mill
Sat 25 June                                 South American Tasting at home
Sat 10 Sept                                 Spanish Tasting at home
Thurs 17 & Fri 18 Nov                  Christmas Tastings at The Saxon Mill 

The tastings at home also include a two course fork supper, for which we need to make a charge of £25.00 per head, so please let me know if you are interested in any of the above events. 

For the rest of this month we are offering 12.5% off the following everyday wines:

Broken Shackle Classic Red and White 2009 - £5.88 down to £5.15
Mendoza Heights Chenin/Sauvignon 2009 - £6.14 down to £5.37
Clos de Torribas Crianza Tempranillo 2006 - £7.10 down to £6.21
