December looks like being just as busy, if not busier than November for us, which is how we like it!  We are still doing tastings and wine stands at various charity Christmas Shopping events.  If you would like tickets for the tasting in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care and End Polio on Tuesday 14 December, please email us at tastings@winepoole.co.uk or phone us on 01926 490970.  It is taking place, by kind permission of Forever Living Products, in their UK headquarters at Longbridge Manor on the outskirts of Warwick, which is a beautiful Queen Anne manor house.  The event starts at 7.15pm when you will be greeted with a glass of fizz and then we will tutor you through ! a further seven wines.  A buffet supper is included which makes tickets great value at just £12.50 each.

We have put together some excellent mixed cases of wines for Christmas, to cater for all tastes and all pockets, starting with a credit crunch case and ranging up to a couple of connoisseurs selections.  We also have what we believe must be the best value vintage port in Warwickshire!  We have Barros 2000 Vintage Port on offer at just £29.95 down from £36.33.  We also have their Late Bottled Vintage Port for £14.95 down from £16.50.  Either of these would make a lovely Christmas gift in one of our single bottle gift packs priced at 95p.  We have many other wines and gifts packs available for the people in your life who love good food and wine!

A number of people are already talking to us about drinks parties and supper evenings, so if you are planning to hold one over the festive period, why n! ot let us take the headache of supplying your wines and glasses, we have some very competitively priced, well made easy drinking wines which do not have the cocktail of chemicals so often found in the cheap offer wines!  Our wines can be supplied on a sale or return basis together with the free loan of attractive glasses - not a Paris goblet in sight!
