New Wave Spanish Red Trio 

A stunning selection of three red wines from the Clos Montblanc winery at Conca de Barbera in Catalonia.  Two of them are single varietals, namely, Pinot Noir and Syrah, whilst the third is a blend called Xipella Negre.  The Pinot Noir is a 100% Pinot Noir wine, which is fruity and well structured and so good that even the French buy it!  The Syrah, also 100%, is full bodied, strong and intense with spicy undertones and a long finsh.  The Xipella Negre, named after the local dialect of Catalan is an elegant, full bodied smooth and rounded blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Garnacha.  All in all, a well presented trio of wines in a classy presentation box, which make a wonderful gift.
