The House of Laurent-Perrier was established in 1812 and is located in the heart of the Champagne region at Tours-sur-Marne. Owned by the Nonancourt family it remains the largest independent "Grande Marque" Champagne House.
Laurent-Perrier can offer a Champagne for every moment, a wine for every form of enjoyment. Careful selection of grapes, full attention to all stages of the winemaking process and ageing of each wine, according to its needs, are the requisites for the development of the individual character of each and every wine.
Laurent-Perriers's international reputation has been quality led, its Champagnes offering elegance and style throughout its varied and impressive range.
Grapes 100% Pinot Noir
Growths: The blend comes from ten 100% rated Grands Crus
Winemaking: The grapes are sorted and de-stemmed before going into the vat. Laurent-Perrier's experience in making red "Coteaux Champenois" wines ensures a perfect maceration phase. This lasts for 3 days and gives the wine its colour, as well as the full range of Pinot Noir aromas. Unlike most rosé Champagnes, the base of Laurent-Perrier's Cuvée Rosé Brut is made by a technique known as "saignée" or "bleeding", rather than simply by blending red and white wines. The wine is aged for a minimum of 4 years and is manually disgorged.
Colour: A fairly deep salmon-pink colour enhanced by a long stream of fine bubbles.
Serve: At 8 to 12°C as a perfect aperitif or with delicatessen food, poultry, Thai dishes and mature cheese.
Taste: Clean and wonderfully fresh, reminiscent of red and black fruit on the nose and in the mouth the Champagne is supple with a lingering finish.
