The House of Laurent-Perrier was established in 1812 and is located in the heart of the Champagne region at Tours-sur-Marne. Owned by the Nonancourt family it remains the largest independent “Grande Marque” Champagne House.
Laurent-Perrier can offer a Champagne for every moment, a wine for every form of enjoyment. Careful selection of grapes, full attention to all stages of the winemaking process and ageing of each wine, according to its needs, are the requisites for the development of the individual character of each and every wine.
Laurent-Perriers’s international reputation has been quality led, its Champagnes offering elegance and style throughout its varied and impressive range.
Grapes 45% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier
Growths: The blend is made from over 55 different growths, with an average of 94% on the quality scale. Between 10 and 20% of reserve wines are included to ensure perfect continuity in the style.
Winemaking: Only the very best pressings are used to make this wine. Brut is aged for over 3 years (3 times the legal minimum). The dosage is light, to allow the wine to show its natural balance. A further 3 months ageing follows disgorging and dosage.
Colour: Pale Gold
Serve: At 8 to 12C as a perfect aperitif or with refined fish dishes and light seafood dishes.
Taste: Delicate and complex nose, full flavour with plenty of fruit in the mouth with a good balance and long length.
