Grapes: 100% Malbec
Soil: Deep and stony with very low level of organic matter
Viticulture: Cruz de Piedra, Maipú, Mendoza
Winemaking: The grapes are hand harvested, then they are destemmed and crushed. The addition of selected yeasts led to a controlled alcoholic fermentation. After pneumatic pressing and racking, a controlled natural malolactic fermentation was allowed. The wine was bottles after stabilizing and filtration.Taste: A well-balanced wine with inviting aromas of plum jam, through to a fresh juicy palate and a rich smoky finish.
Serve: This is a rich and full-bodied wine with intense fruit flavour that is at its best when paired with very good red meat dishes. All Argentine beef dishes should be eaten with a glass of Argentine malbec!
