Bad News

Dear Friend

The bad news is that due to the recent earthquake Saint Clair wines are in short supply so we are changing the wines on special offer this month.  The good news is that we are changing them to two Spanish wines which are also very popular, which are:

Castillo Montblanc Macabeo Chardonnay 2009, £6.85 reduced to £6.15
Castillo Montblanc Tempranillo 2008  £6.85 reduced to £6.15

Thes wines are from the Conca de Barbera area of Catalonia and since they are wines that we import direct, they are particularly well priced even at full price!  The white is a delicious blend of the aromatic Macabeo (spelled Macabeu on the bottle as it is written in Catalan!) with some Chardonnay which give it a softer finish.  The wine is un-oaked and a perfect quaffer for these Spring evenings that we are now enjoying.  The red is a Tempranillo which has had the lightest touch of oak, so is still fresh and vibrant in style.
